Returns & Refund Policy - AltaiX Performance Ltd

At AltaiX Performance, we are committed to delivering premium performance wear designed to exceed expectations. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

This policy applies to orders placed via our website.


1. Your Right to Cancel (UK & Eligible Orders)

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To exercise your right to cancel:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery

  • You then have a further 14 days from the date of notification to return the item(s)

Your statutory rights are not affected.


2. Return Eligibility & Condition

You are welcome to try your items on at home, as you would in-store.

To be eligible for a refund, items must be:

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • In original, resalable condition

  • Free from odours, marks, pet hair, or damage

  • Returned with original reusable bag and packaging

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these standards.


3. Try-On Guidelines

To preserve product quality:

  • Try on indoors only

  • Wear over underwear

  • Avoid deodorant, makeup, fragrance, tanning products, lotions, or oils

  • Do not wear for training, outdoors, or extended periods

Handling beyond what is necessary to assess fit and suitability may result in a deduction from your refund.


4. Inspection & Deductions

All returned items are inspected upon receipt.

If the value of the goods is reduced due to handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to check fit and suitability, we may apply a deduction in accordance with UK consumer law.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Odour

  • Makeup, deodorant, or tan marks

  • Pilling

  • Snags or pulls

  • Stretched seams or waistbands

  • Pet hair

  • Signs of wear

Possible outcomes:

  • Minor removable marks: up to 20% deduction

  • Clear wear or odour: return may be refused

  • Damaged or used items: return refused

Where a return is refused, the item may be sent back to you at your expense.


5. Reusable Bag & Packaging

Items must be returned with the original reusable bag and any included packaging.

If the reusable bag is missing or returned in unsuitable condition, we may deduct up to £5 to reflect replacement cost and reduced resale value.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty or incorrect:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service

  • We are not responsible for returns lost in transit

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

For US orders, any customs duties or import fees paid are non-refundable.

If a shipment was refused due to unpaid customs charges and returned to us, original shipping costs and any return charges incurred will be deducted from the refund.


7. Refund Process

Once we receive your return (or proof of postage within the 14-day return window), and it passes inspection:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • We aim to process refunds within 5–7 business days

  • In all cases, refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return)

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.


8. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges through the website.

If you require a different size, please:

  1. Return your original item

  2. Place a new order

9. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

hello@altaixperformance.com

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the item

  • Photographs of the packaging

Where a fault is confirmed, we will:

  • Offer a replacement (subject to availability), or

  • Provide a full refund

We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for verified faulty or incorrect items.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


10. How to Return an Item

  1. Email hello@altaixperformance.com within 14 days of delivery

  2. Wait for return confirmation instructions

  3. Securely package your item with original reusable bag and packaging

  4. Send using a tracked service

  5. Retain your tracking number until refund is confirmed

Returns sent without prior notification may experience delays.
